Earth - Veritas

Painting is my practice of meditation. The Earth-Veritas series of deeply personal mandalas present a process of centering in an intuitive dream state of calm and heightened awareness. The Orbs, metaphors for heightened consciousness, reflect on the sublime and the beautiful.

EXPLORING CONSCIOUSNESS, 2020

These paintings were created during the pandemic lockdowns of 2020 and 2021 while the world felt quiet and living with stillness became the new normal. Fortunate to have a home studio, I continued working during these challenging times. I created an aesthetic framework for exploring my own consciousness, formed by experiences of my lifetime. The nooks and crannies represent people, places, moments, sadness, joy, success, loves and losses. Consciousness is awareness.
