Genesis
A new series by Dee Solin

Transformation, the spark that ignites
when darkness becomes light.

It took me 20 years to find surety in a
working format where capturing the
changing movement of light is a spiritual
experience that continues to inspire me.
My current series "Genesis" is a challenge
intellectually, artistically and emotionally.

Since I have matured as an artist I have
been fascinated by grids. All of my work
has utilized the grid which represents
many things to me: stability in a world of
chaos, a window to the universe, a
celestial boundary, something definitive
and calm within which I can exercise
complete exuberance and creative
freedom. In this space my creativity is
infinite.
